daysleeper showcase the exciting line up that has now been settled upon by the core of bands such as "The Screaming Mangoes, Headshrinker and Epicentre"

The band has been existed since 2002 and whilst some members have joined and left, Andy, Ju and Nick have featured in each previous incarnation of the group.

daysleeper were a staple of the Worfestock event held in May and an up and coming group as featured on Shropshire Radio’s “Friday Night Gerbil” show.

Key to the bands success has been their ability to create a set list that satisfies what the band members like and dislike whilst maintaining an appreciation of what the audience likes to hear.

Of course, this often means compromise - for example Andy would be happy to play Stereophonics tunes all evening but with experience and copious amounts of net based research it is possible to find great songs that are fun to play and can be enjoyed by just about every type of listener!

Therefore, our set includes a lively, interesting mix of music including current chart tracks from bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Kaiser Chiefs.

We also include a healthy dollop of 80’s “cheese” such as Nena’s 99 Red Balloons.

A usual “pub” gig typically includes 2 or 3 sets of 30-35 songs in total, however, this can be tailored to suit the event.
